Challenge
Bonaire is a beautiful island and a special municipality of the Netherlands. Although it is beautiful to live there, power is not always reliable and prices are high. A customer approached us with the question of how autonomous energy can be generated with high reliability and in the greenest possible way for several residential objects.
Approach
By asking the right questions and mapping consumption, we were able to make appropriate calculations. For optimal results and the guarantee of reliability, we first assembled and tested the system in the Netherlands. After the implementation of a solid energy system per house, the allotment and thus coupling of the energy systems can take place gradually.
Solution
We have designed a 3-phase solar energy system that uses energy smartly when it presents itself. Where possible, consumption is moved to the day. By using energy consumers at a smart moment, the system automatically recognizes difficult situations and can then act on them. The mini-grid will be developed gradually and the systems can be read through a central monitoring portal.
